Healthy Forests Presentation

Looking for practical ways to build resilient trees in your own backyard?

Then, the Healthy Forests Presentation is for you!

When: April 15th, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm

Where: Grand Traverse Conservation District – 1450 Cass Road, Traverse City

What: Participants will learn how to keep trees healthy and vigorous and prevent loss from insects, diseases, and other environmental stressors.  Russ Kidd, Michigan State University Extension Forester Emeritus, will give practical ways to build resilient trees in the forest or your own backyard.  He will offer tips on preventative care, including a pruning demonstration with a local tree service provider.

Cost: $10 per person (by April 15) or $15 per person at the door
