15th Annual Northern Michigan Small Farm Conference
at the Grand Traverse Resort, Acme
Saturday, February 1, 2014

Since 2006, Grayling High School has been our conference home. The amazing teamwork of the Grayling High School staff has been instrumental in helping to assure attendees have a great conference experience. While this beautiful school has provided us with such a comfortable atmosphere and has been so good to us, we are growing and we need more space. We have searched for over two years to find facilities in the northern part of the lower peninsula that can hold a group of our size. It is with both a fond farewell and with anticipation that we announce the 15th Annual Northern Michigan Small Farm Conference on February 1, 2014, to be held at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme.

One of our goals for the Northern Michigan Small Farm Conference is to provide an outstanding educational event that meets the needs of the attendees and to provide a forum for the open exchange of ideas within the small farm community. As more of our community members become interested in local food and farming, our forum grows. The planning committee is dedicated to keeping the same small farm feel as we grow our network.

The Northern Michigan Small Farm Conference serves as a vehicle to promote and build a local vibrant agriculture community, to equip the small farm community with the tools to be successful, and to be a forum for the open exchange of ideas within the small farm community.
