Grow Benzie to Offer Cheese Making Class

Are you interested in learning how to make your own cheese?

Grow Benzie is offering a cheese making class – what a great way to introduce yourself to cheese making!

When: February 26th, 6-8pm

Where: Grow Benzie – 5885 M-115, Benzonia, MI 49616

What: Cheese making class with Sue Jurta, cheese maker at Boss Mouse Cheese in Kingsley, MI.  She will be teaching a class in two easy to make, fresh cheeses: farmer’s cheese and fresh mozzarella.  Both cheeses are quick and simple to make, with easy to find, inexpensive ingredients.  The two hour class will include hands-on instruction in preparing these cheeses, as well as information and history about the craft of cheese making.  The class is open to all ages.

Cost: $30, class is limited to 12 people and reservations are required.
