What: Solar Powering Michigan conference, sponsored by the Midwest Renewable Energy Assoc., Northwestern Michigan College, and GLREA, will bring together the solar industry, state agencies, utilities, universities, renewable energy advocates, and others interested in solar energy to network and learn about the latest developments in solar energy. Matt Card, VP of Global Sales & Marketing for Suniva will be one of the keynote speakers.  Suniva recently announced they will be opening a new factory in Saginaw Township. Breakout sessions will include project finance, community solar, commercial successes, solar potential, utility developments, solar ready communities, job potential, workforce training, and project business models.
