On the evening May 19 at 6 p.m. in MLUI's large conference room, Lisa Del Buono will speak on behalf of the Citizens Climate Lobby about that group’s advocacy for a national "fee & dividend" on carbon emissions (also described as a ‘carbon tax’). 

Lisa is a pathologist at Munson, and has been a climate activist with TC 350 since our 2013 bus trip to the Forward on Climate Rally in Washington D.C. She has also become the leading spokesperson for Citizens Climate Lobby in northwest Michigan.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a grassroots, nonpartisan advocacy organization. It aims to empower citizens to build public and legislative support for a carbon tax that would return 100% of revenue to American households.
