New Plans for Barren Lands: A brownfield redevelopment guide for Michigan’s northern coastal communities was published by the Michigan Land Use Institute.

The report was funded through the Coastal Zone Management Act. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management administers the Act in cooperation with the Michigan Coastal Management Program, a program of the Department of Environmental Quality’s Environmental Science and Services Division.

Statements, finding, conclusions, and recommendations are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of  the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce, or the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
