Musical Saw Workshop with Thom Eno

Have you ever thought about using a saw as a musical instrument?  Now is your change to learn how!

Thom Eno, a Michigan-based musician, is bringing the art of playing the musical saw to Dennos Museum Center.

When: February 28, 2015; 12:30pm -1:30pm and 2:00 – 3:00pm

Where: Dennos Museum Center – 1410 College Drive, Traverse City, MI 49686

What: An hour-long workshop with Michigan-based musician Thom Eno, participants will learn the history of the musical saw while receiving hands-on instruction.  Learn to play some of the classic songs that feature musical saw, and get a feel for this unique instrument. 

Registration: $25 per person and limited to 10 individuals per workshop, ages 16 and up.  Visit dennosmuseum.org or call 231-995-1573 to register.

Additional Information:  Saws will be provided. Registration fee includes 2 tickets to the 4:00pm performance of Thom Eno with the Sorensons in Milliken Auditorium
